I can’t believe 8 years went by so quickly. This photo was taken in May of 2003, at the “Dienās, kad lidlauks pārāk tāls” presentation, at the then existing Elkor music store. Rest in peace, Mumiņ…

Having joined the ranks of Amazon/Ebay textbook sellers this week, I have been going through my books to see if anything else needs a new owner. This led to the creation of a “favorite books” shelf. (The “When They Were 22” book is not a mistake: I actually found it at store that doesn’t really sell books, on my 22nd birthday(!!). I shall keep it for a while more, as a reminder of awesome gifts of Universe :p )

Prāta Vētra - Ko tu domā

What do you think?
What do you think?
In my movie you’ll play the main part
I will be the butterfly, you will be the dragonfly
What do you think?

I find it appropriate to repost this photo of PV. I am crying almost-literally over the fact that I am about to miss yet another summer tour experience… These people are like my family, my Buddhas, the people whose framed pictures outnumber the images of my actual family members.. (Well, it used to be true for a while anyway). I am not an obsessive collector of every move they make anymore, but it would mean the world if I could see them before their 40th band anniversary, if you know what I mean.. They still have some energy left in them, they will rock the stage at every show, the crowd will go wild, and I will have to work myself to death in order to survive a stormless summer.
BUT I AM HAPPY FOR THE NEW MATERIAL RELEASED ON MONDAY! I am looking forward to getting my hands on the actual album (trying not to listen to any previews until that happens…). Sarauj, puishi. Saules beerni. Malachi.
